Oral Surgery

Sometimes our pets require oral surgery to extract diseased or fractured teeth, excise oral masses or tumors, repair fractured jaws and other types of trauma, remove excessive gingival tissue, or repair oronasal fistulas (opening from the mouth to the nose from diseased teeth).  Dr. Battig specializes in oral surgery, and is happy to consult with you regarding the options available for your pet.

If your pet has an oral mass or tumor, we also have the capability to submit a sample (tissue) to a Histopathologist in order to determine what types of cells are involved in the tissue.
